The Nan Ski Academy team was founded from a family of skiers where the Romanian champion and his sister fulfilled their dream of providing ski lovers with their experience and knowledge. Their dream is to offer others the chance to live the experience they were lucky enough to live.

OVER 30 YEARS OF SKIING
During the years in which he practiced performance sports at a Ski Club, Nan Ioan Gabriel gained experience and a lot of titles and achievements. Among them, the most important are: 10 years in the Olympic team and the National Ski Team, the title of National Champion 10 years in a row, over 100 participations in physical competitions, European Cup, 3 participations in the World Cup, 4 World Championships and participation the Vancouver Olympics.

The courses organized by the Nan Ski Academy team can be attended by both children and adults, who want to learn, improve or perform in this sport. Thus, the participants have the chance to live special experiences with our instructors and teachers, with specific training, and to have fun in a pleasant company. You can try new experiences related to snow and the mountain environment, such as freeride skiing and mountaineering. You can also take part in ski competitions, regardless of age, always accompanied by qualified and specialized staff. Our team from Poiana Brasov includes over 20 ski and snowboard instructors accredited by the Romanian Ski School.
Nan Sports Club is a legal entity under private law, without patrimonial, apolitical and non-governmental purpose, established in Brasov. Founding members are Nan Gabriela and Nan Ioan Gabriel, a member of the Alpine Skiing Olympic Team, who also plays the role of head coach within the club. Nan Ski Club has its winter ``headquarters`` in Poiana Brasov, near the ski slopes, near Club Rossignol. Here is the meeting and equipment point, where the winter adventure starts. In the same place is the rental center for sports equipment, Nan Ski Club. Our club has 2 minibuses, with which we travel, on request, from school or kindergarten, to the slope, to the pool or camp, in Bran or Austria. We also have our own location, the Florentina pension from Predelut-Bran, where we run the winter camp and the summer themed camps: “Medieval camp”, “Country life”, “Mountain life”… Our club has all the auxiliary materials necessary for the development in good conditions of the sports and recreational activities, in full safety and under the careful supervision of our instructors.
